Mr. Donald Hopkins, 46, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Hopkins was born December 22, 1971 in Swainsboro, Ga. to Edward Hopkins and Trannie Wilkerson Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Quince Wilkerson & Evie Dell Hall Wilkerson; paternal grandparents, Charlie M. Hopkins & Maybell Stapleton Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins was a lifelong resident of Swainsboro. He was a master woodworker.

Mr. Hopkins loved his family, music, and was an avid NASCAR fan and Alabama football fan. He had a special love for his great niece and nephews. Survivors include his parents, Edward & Trannie Hopkins; daughters, Tiffany Hopkins (John Reddy) of Pembroke and Gabi Hopkins of Metter; brother, Dennis Hopkins (Susan) of Swainsboro; niece, Heather Murry (Matt); nephew, Cody Hopkins (Chelsea); great-niece, Aubri Murry; great-nephews, Mason Murry and Noah Hopkins; granddaughter, Aldri Reddy; many friends.

Memorial Service will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home Condolences may be expressed at www. chapmanfhofswainsboro.com Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Donald Hopkins, 46, of Swainsboro.
