Obituary for Donald Louis Badeaux Beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, Donald Louis Badeaux, age 74, passed into the arms of his Lord on Monday, October 22, 2018 in Marshall, Texas. He was born on September 13, 1944 in New Iberia, Louisiana to Freddie Adam and Anna Mae Badeaux. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he proudly served his country stationed in Taiwan during the Vietnam War.

Upon his release from his military duty, he earned two Masters Degrees and taught Biology and Micro-Biology for many years in New Iberia, Church Point and Erath. Donald was a member of Deadwood United Pentecostal Church, loved the Lord, loved learning and he loved teaching. In addition, he loved old cars, oldies music, computers, gardening and his family, but his true passion in life was being a grandfather to the light of his life, his only grandchild, Matthew James Cutrer.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye (Sonnier) Badeaux; his parents, Freddie Adam and Anna Mae Badeaux; and a brother, Gilbert Badeaux. He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Renee Cutrer and her husband, Cody and Jessica Ann Badeaux; his grandson, Matthew James Cutrer; his close friend, Ollie Brown and her husband, John; numerous other family members and many friends who were blessed by his friendship. Donald’s life was well lived and he was well loved by all who knew him.
