Dondra Joy Garrett October 29, 1948 – March 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Dondra Joy Maxwell Garrett, age 70 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2019. Mrs. Garrett was born on October 29, 1948 in Rockmart, Georgia a daughter of the late Eugene Maxwell and the late Carrie Lorena Benefield Maxwell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Lanier and Betty Knight .

She was also a member of the South Side Baptist Church of Cedartown. Dondra Joy Garrett is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Arthur Garrett; son, David Garrett; daughter and son in law, Lisa and Randy Kirkpatrick; brothers, Chesley Harold Maxwell and Melvin “Buddy” Maxwell; sisters, Margie Bowman and Debra Pace; her grandson, Jesse Kirkpatrick and granddaughter, Landry Kirkpatrick. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon, March 15, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. The Memorial service for Mrs. Dondra Joy Maxwell Garrett will be conducted on Friday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Pilgrim officiating.
