Mrs. Donna Jean (Bowling) Whaley, age 62, of Oneida, TN, departed this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born September 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Lora Bowling and Harriet Bowling. She was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing and teaching children in Sunday school.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lora Bowling. Survivors include her husband, Lon Whaley, Jr.; her daughter, Lori Ann… Read More » (Stewart) Dickenson and husband Robby; son, Daniel Whaley; mother, Harriet Bowling; grandchildren, Hunter, Auton and Ava Whaley, Dalton Newport, Austin Davis; brothers, Darrell Bowling, Scott Bowling and wife Pamela, Kevin Bowling and wife Julie; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Black Oak Baptist Church in Oneida with Bro.

Kyle Keeton and Bro. Crestin Burke officiating. Music will be provided by Black Oak Baptist Church Choir.

She will be entombed Wednesday morning, September 5, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Carson Memorial Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be Darrel Bowling, Kevin Bowling, Scott Bowling, Daniel Whaley, Dalton Newport, Austin Davis and Jimmy Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Whaley, Auton Whaley and Sam Bowling.
