Obituary for Donna Jeane Staton Donna Jeane Staton, 75, of Chesterfield, passed away on June 14, 2018 at the Miller’s Merry Manor in Chesterfield. She was born on March 11, 1943 in Lapel, and resided most of her life in Madison County. Donna graduated from Lapel High School in 1961.

She was a retired secretary. She loved to scrapbook, design artist trading cards, and most of all spend time with her two dogs, Austin and Max. Donna is survived by her loving sons, Bill (Danny Matakiewicz) Staton of Henderson, NV, Troy (Mindy) Staton of Franklin, IN, and Todd (Kamma) Staton of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Brandon (Kasey) Staton, W. Todd (Kyleigh) Staton, Ashley (Andrew) Sargent, Andrew (Jenna) Baas, Kaitlyn Roberts, Jacob (Samantha) Baas, Tyler Baas, and Shaylee Staton; and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is her sister, Carolyn (Barry) Yancey; father of her children, Francis G. Staton; nieces, Rhonda Gaylord and Amy McClellen; nephew, Dave Yancey, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elizabeth Gimple; sister, Peggy Witham; and grandson, Anthony Roberts. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton. www.
