Obituary for Corwin R. Day Corwin R Day, 80, of Anderson, passed away on June 3, 2018 in Brown County. He was born on June 28, 1937 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life. He served his country in the Army, and he retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors, where he worked in the Crib Department.

He was a member of Alexandria Elks Lodge, 82nd Airborne Association, EAA Chapter #226, and The Young Eagles. He enjoyed flying, riding his Harley, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Corwin is survived by his children, Scott (Melissa) Day, Tiffany (Michael) Estridge, Cory (Crystal) Day; grandchildren, Samantha (Adam) Lawson, Caitlynn Day, Cory Day, II, Samuel Day, Gabriel Day; great-granddaughter, Mia Lawson; siblings, Phyllis Downham, Mike (Kay) Day; and his companion, Minnie Parrish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Margaret (Hartley) Day; brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Henrietta Day, brother-in-law, Claude Downham. Visitation will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be Friday, June 8, 2018, 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Rev.

Gary Klinger officiating. Cremation & Burial of Ashes will take place in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alexandria Elks Lodge or The Young Eagles Association.
