Obituary for Doris “Dabbers” Anne Bishop Doris “Dabbers” Anne Bishop, age 77, passed away on November 6, 2018. Mrs. Bishop was born March 10, 1941 to Reggie and Helen Rogers Buckley. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for others in her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Willard Bishop; three children, daughters Pamela Bishop and Freida Bishop and son Andy Bishop; one brother; and one sister. She is survived by three daughters, Sandy O’Neal of Louin, Mary Williamson (Jim) of Taylorsville, and Melissa Wright (Jake) of Louin; two brothers; four sisters; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, November 8th at Memory Chapel in Laurel.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 9th at Antioch Baptist Church in Louin with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 12 noon. Rev.

Joe Hennington and Rev. Mike Walker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Windsell Phillips, Marcus Evans, Jason Anderson, Wendell Welborn, Dane Pitts, and Sam Houston.
