Obituary for Doris M Dowling Doris M. Dowling, 83, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Warren Campus in Phillipsburg. Doris was born in Phillipsburg on August 23, 1935 to the late Elias and Marie Cutsler Hughes. Doris was a Cottage Training Tech.

at Hunterdon State School in Huntington, NJ for 16 years, retiring in 1997. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1954. Doris enjoyed going to the casinos and loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

Doris was of the Lutheran Faith. Doris is survived by daughters, Jill Taylor and her husband Thomas of Northampton, PA and Barbara Printz of Hellertown, Pa; grandchildren, Stacy DeAngelis, Stephanie Pychinka, Jamin Marcantoni, Jessica Marcantoni and Robert Marcantoni; great-grandchildren, Thomas DeAngelis and Benjamin Pychinka; and a sister, Barbara Boyer. Doris was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Walter Hughes.

A Memorial Service for Doris will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11am at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NJ.
