Obituary for Dorothy Jean Brantley Dorothy Jean Brantley, 97, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation in Trenton, FL. Born December 29, 1920 in Winter Haven, to John and Loretta Yonally Bacon. She was a resident of Winter Haven until moving to Trenton a few years ago to be closer to her daughter.

She was a secretary for the Florida Department of Agriculture and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Bruso Gilliam of Trenton, FL; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, April 20, 2018 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Winter Haven.
