John Petersen officiating. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.

Dorothy Amanda was born on November 5, 1924 to Arthur and Erna (Bergemann) Kleist in Mankato, Minnesota. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1942. On June 21, 1947 she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Schuldt Jr. at the Little Brown Church in Nashua Ia.

After their marriage Dorothy and Bill resided in Mankato where she was a homemaker, and with her husband owned and operated Schuldt Printing Inc. where she was the office manager for many years. After retirement they moved to Stalker Lake by Battle Lake, Mn, and then finally moving to Mesa Az. to enjoy retirement.

She enjoyed her rose garden, fishing, especially for bass, reading, and going on impromptu car trips wherever it would take them. Dorothy also was a terrific artist and enjoyed painting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by husband of 71 years, William (Bill) Schuldt, Mesa, AZ; 2 daughters, Jean Gagner, Sheridan, WY, Sharon (Greg) Bohnert, Greenfield, MN; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sylvia Monson, Andover, MN, Norma Deuser, Mesa, AZ; brother, Harlan (Marjorie) Kleist, Mesa, AZ; aunt, Phyllis Kleist and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Erna Kleist; son-in-law, Lionel Gagner.
