Dorothy L. Johnson, 89, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2018. She was born October 27, 1928 in Detroit, MI, daughter of William and Alta (Combellick) Jackson. Dorothy was a very active member of the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church; also member of Ledge Craft Lane, Grand Ledge Garden Club, and active with the Meals on Wheels program and PEO.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Kristin Johnson-Secor of Lake Odessa and Karen Kenwell of Cincinnati, OH, sons: Charles (Lynette)… Read More » of Petoskey, Craig (Kathleen) of Linden, and David (Wendy) of Grand Rapids; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles “Bernie” Bernard Johnson in 2012 and son-in-law Steven Secor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church, 411 Harrison St., with Rev.

Cindy Skutar and Rev. W.J. “Bill” Amundsen officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge.

Visitations will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge and one hour at the church prior to service time. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the F.U.M.C. or Faith Hospice.
