Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Lucille (Knox) Samuels, 94, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at The Living Center in Marshall. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Crossroads Hospice.

Friends may sign the online register book at www. campbell-lewis.com Born November 8, 1924, in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Charles Victor Knox and Emma Grace (Finley) Knox. She attended school in the Marshall area.

On February 14, 1942, she married Andrew Jackson Samuels, Sr. who preceded her in death on August 24, 2005. She retired from the International Shoe Co. in Marshall. She lived in Saline County most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall.

Survivors include four grandchildren: Tammy Palmer (Johnnie) of Marshall, John David Boyd (Ashleigh) of Columbia, Bob Samuels and Doug Samuels both of Slater; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Boyd; sons, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Samuels, Jr. and Lawrence Samuels; and seven siblings.
