Dorothy Lorraine Jankoviak Okemos Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at age 94. Born June 16, 1924 to Michael and Theresa (Bialik) Kapcia in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dorothy retired as a Special Education Assistant for Lansing Everett High School.

She was a member of St. Casimir Church for over 70 years where she also belonged to the Alter Society. Dorothy was a former 4H leader who also enjoyed sewing, knitting and canning. Family was always her highest… Read More » priority and she will be dearly missed by all who remember her.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Jankoviak; son, Martin Paul Jankoviak; twin brother, Robert Kapcia; brother, Michael Kapcia as well as her parents. Surviving are her children, Sue (Dale) Glynn, Mike (Cherie) Jankoviak, Sandy (Dan Redman) Westwood, Mark (Marsha McHatton) Jankoviak, Sherry (Tim) Bashore; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St. Casimir Church with Fr.

Bill Lugger as Celebrant. Family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass at the church. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or St. Casimir Church in Dorothy’s name.
