Dovie Maggard, 80, of Eolia passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at her residence. Dovie was the daughter of the late John and Myrtie Colinger Sturgill. She was the widow of Burley Maggard.

Surviving is 1 son: Timothy Maggard of Partridge; 3 grandchildren: Allen Ray Maggard, John Curtis Maggard, and Christopher Adams Sturgill; 8 great grandchildren: Nicholas Sturgill, Brayton Sturgill, Dezaray Maggard, Caleb Maggard, Sharika Knox, Anna Knox, Lucas Cox, and Molly Cox. Dovie was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters. Graveside Service: 11:00 O’clock A.M. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the J.D. Maggard Cemetery at Eolia, Kentucky.

Visitation: 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
