Dustin Barrachias Payne, 33, of Scipio, passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born October 24, 1985, in Columbus, Dustin was the son of Gerald Payne and Sharon Hamilton. Dustin worked as an operator for Dave O’Mara Contractors for 14 years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, farming and pouring concrete.

Survivors include father, Gerald Payne of Seymour; mother, Sharon Hamilton of Seymour; mother of his children, Kayla Lamb of Seymour; son, Noah Payne of Seymour; daughters, Shelby Payne, Grace Payne and Loralei Payne all of Seymour; sisters, Patricia (William) Baker of Seymour and Sarah Payne of North Vernon; nephew, William “Billy” Baker of Seymour; niece, Olivia Baker of Seymour; aunts, Melissa Burnette and Diana Turner both of Madison, Liz Fitzgerald and Tania Payne both of Memphis, Tennessee, Janeen Wilson of California and Jeanie Barron of Georgia; uncles, Barry Courtney of Sardinia, Ohio and Quinn (Cheryl) Payne of North Vernon and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Scipio Cemetery in Scipio. Memorials may be made through the funeral home for a Trust account for his Children.
