Earl Herman Anderson, 81, of Continental Blvd, Danville, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Geisinger Home Health Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville. Born March 5, 1937 in Limestone Twp. , he was the son of the late Herman L. and Mildred (Hoffman) Anderson.

On October 1, 1960, he married the former Barbara Arlene Bardo and together they would have celebrated 59 years of marriage this year. Earl was a 1955 graduate of Northmont High School, Turbotville. He served honorably in the US Army.

Earl worked for 8 years at TRW, Danville and worked 21 years for PPL, Washingtonville, where he retired. During his life, Earl worked as a farmer, carpenter, plumber and electrician. He was a Mr. Fix-It, always able to fix anything.

He was a member of Washingtonville Lutheran Church, where he previously served on the church board. Surviving besides his wife, Barbara, are his daughters: Judy and Sharon; one brother: Harold J. Anderson; one brother-in-law: Marvin Funk; and one sister-in-law: Mary Jean Anderson. Preceding him in death besides his parents were his siblings, Kenneth L. Anderson and Leona Ruth Funk.

There will be a graveside service held at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 18, in Washingtonville Lutheran Cemetery, with his pastor, Rev. Melody Sell, officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions in his memory be made to Geisinger Home Health Hospice, 410 Glenn Ave, Suite 200, Bloomsburg, PA 17815 or his church, Washingtonville Lutheran Church, PO Box 181, Washingtonville, PA 17884 Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
