Earl Nation January 5, 1940 – February 12, 2019 Funeral services for Earl Wayne Nation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Shoals Baptist Church in Hugo, OK with Eric Laginess officiating; burial will follow at the Shoals Cemetery in Hugo, OK. Earl passed away February 12, 2019, in Dallas, TX at the age of 79. Earl Wayne Nation was born January 5, 1940, to Carl Adolphus Nation and Velma (Capps) Nation, in Ft.

Towson, OK. He proudly served his country by joining the United States Army. Earl was a jack of all trades, he loved to woodwork and garden.

He loved to read and travel; was very much a people person and would often be found riding his scooter around the retirement community visiting with everyone. Earl loved spending time with his friends and family, and loved bragging on his nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Velma Nation; step-son, Jim Bennett; and sisters, Ruth Ann Nation, Patricia Robertson, and Faye Brown.

Earl is survived by his step-daughter, Jan Bennett, of Tulsa, OK; brother, Carl Nation, of Garland, TX; Sister, Mary Kathryn Jones, of Terrell, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Knesek and Sarah Bennett; great-grandchildren Clair Knesek and Evan Knesek; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
