Edna’s Obituary Marion, VA Edna Sharitz Coalson, age 83 passed away Friday, December 28, 2018, at the Carrington Place in Rural Retreat,VA. She was born in Wythe County, VA to the late William Henry Sharitz and Laura Sharitz and was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Coalson; her step sister Becky Bale; two brothers Junior and Everett Sharitz. She worked at Virginia house furniture for over 20 years and was an avid quilter.

Survivors include her daughter Connie Oakes and husband Brian of Marion, VA; her grandchildren whom she adored Allie Gross and Adrian Gross; brother Ralph Sharitz; step mother Ruth Sharitz; step brothers Michael Sharitz and Bo Surber; step sisters Shelia Russell and Shirley Widener. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 at the Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion. Graveside services will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Mike Sage officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Marion Senior High School Volleyball Team, 848 Stage Street Marion, VA 24354. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www. bradleysfh.com.
