Lula’s Obituary Marion, VA Lula Evelyn Lundy, age 76, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018, at her son’s home in Chilhowie, VA. She was born in Smyth County to the late Early Graham Robinson & Elsie Mae Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kenneth Lundy; son, Jeffrey Allen Lundy; sister, Liz “Toots” Boyles; brothers, Samuel Robinson and Carl Robinson; and her sister-in-law, Lois Robinson.

Mrs. Lundy attended Grace United Methodist Church. She retired from Holston-Harwood Manufacturing after 30 years of employment. Lula was a hard worker, and put the younger generations to shame with her tenacity and work ethic.

She was also very loving, giving, and generous; she would give the shirt off of her back to someone in need. Most of all, she was sweet, in a quiet and accepting way and will be truly missed by all of her family and friends. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Paul “PJ” & Dana Lundy, Chilhowie; brothers: Johnny Robinson and Virgil Robinson & wife Lena Mae, both of Marion; sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Jerry McClure, Glade Spring; sister-in-law, Bonnie Robinson, Marion; grandchildren: Heather Lundy Mash, Daniel Lundy, Andrew Lundy, Shana Holt, Brandon Brooks, Jerimiah Lundy; great-grandchildren: Brie Lundy, Alyssa Mash, and Garrett Mash; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January, 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm from the Bradley’s Funeral Home chapel in Marion with Rev. Emmit Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at 11:00 am, at the Walker’s Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family www. bradleysfh.com.
