James’ Obituary Marion, VA James Morgan Jones, age 78 passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at his home. Mr. Jones was born in Floyd, VA to the late John Paul Jones and Aldene Louise Bowers Jones and was preceded in death by his brothers William Paul Jones and Frank A Jones. He attended Riverside Baptist Church and retired as a construction superintendent from English Construction Company after many years of service.

Mr. Jones was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include, his wife of 60 years Carolyn Jones; children, James Morgan “Jimmy” Jones, Jr. and wife Karen, Paul Edwin “Eddie” Jones and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Amanda Jones Crigger and special grandson in law Adam, Meagan Jones Owens and husband Tre, John Alexander Jones and wife Erika; great grandchildren, Abigail Crigger, Aiden Crigger, Jocelyn Jones; his special pet and partner, Snowball. Funeral services will be held at 7PM Tuesday February 5, 2019 at the Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Ed Fisher officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 prior to services. Private interment will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.
