Edna M. Keeney, 98, of Lizton, IN, passed away at Hoosier Village Retirement Center in Zionsville, Indiana on May 25, 2019. Born September 6, 1920 in Hendricks County Indiana, the daughter of Russell and Mona (Harlan) Griffith. Proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Meredith E. Keeney, her son, Myron L. Keeney and brother, Glendon Griffith.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Sue K. (Charles) Hendricks. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Angela Keeney, Amanda (Steven) Murphy, Annette Keeney, Michael (Jessica) Keeney; four great grandchildren, Connor Murphy, Megan Murphy, Bradley Talbot, Elise Keeney; sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Edna was a member of the Pittsboro Christian Church; a Past Matron and a 69 year member of the Pittsboro Chapter #416, O.E.S. and a charter member of Lizton Temple #462, Pythian Sisters; also Past Grand Chief and Past Supreme Representative of the Gr.

Temple of Indiana, Pythian Sisters. Edna was co-owner of the Lizton Hatchery, Hardware and Feed Store. She served as an officer and Board member of the Lizton K of P Cemetery Association.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the K of P Cemetery in Lizton, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation, the Pittsboro Christian Church or the charity of your choice. The Myers Mortuary of Lebanon, has been entrusted with burial arrangements.
