Edna P. Miller, 96, of Salunga, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Born in Bainbridge, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Eisenberger. Edna was married to the late Norman Miller Jr., who passed way in 1996.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma J. Knepp of Manheim and her son David A. (Barbara L.) Miller of Loveland, CO. Also, surviving are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six siblings.

During World War II Edna supported the war effort by working at Armstrong World Industries. Later, she worked as a glassblower for RCA, retiring after 34 years of service. Prior to moving to Pleasant View Retirement Community, Edna attended Hempfield United Methodist.

Edna enjoyed helping Norma in her pizza and caramel corn stand at Roots Country Market every Tuesday. She also enjoyed crocheting and vacationing in Myrtle Beach with her family. Her greatest joy in life was being able to help anyone that was in need.

A Celebration of Edna’s life will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home Inc., 16 East Main Street Mount Joy on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11 A.M. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 A.M. Interment will take place at Conestoga Memorial Park following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice for all Seasons Foundation, 280 South Hill Drive, Grantville PA 17028.
