Edna Yvonne Walker January 06, 1936 – March 03, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Edna Yvonne Walker, 83, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her residence. A native of Piney Flats she was a daughter of the late Van & Charity Presnell Hicks, she had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Walker was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Earnest Deloach and her second husband: Aaron J. Walker, by four sisters: Lucille Godsey, Dorothy Hicks, Martha Hampton and Reba Fagan and one brother: Ralph Hicks. Survivors include her Daughter: Dorothy Pruitt, of the home.

Three Grandchildren: April Henry (Sam), Gray, Teshia Pruitt, of the home and Clarissa Parlier (Scotty) Hampton. Seven Great Grandchildren: Christian Henry, Jaiden Henry, Kymber Pruitt, Aubrey Pruitt, Tuff Parlier, Waylon Parlier and Ryder Parlier. One Sister: Betty Godsey, Piney Flats.

Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Bishop David Jackson officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.

Music will be provided by her Granddaughter: Teshia Pruitt. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 2:20 p.m. Thursday will be: Jake Peoples, Clarissa Parlier, April Henry, Teshia Pruitt, Sam Henry and Scotty Parlier. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff of Amedisys Home Health & Hospice, Dr. Manginelli and Tammy Wilhoit.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 2:20 p.m. Thursday.
