Edward Lee Hurrington, 64, of Big Spring, died Friday, June 29, 2018. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Myers & Smith Chapel. Edward was born April 30, 1954 in Big Spring, Texas.

He was a lifetime resident of Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1973. He attended Howard College for Automotive Technology; however, he spent most of his life in the oil field. His hobby, which he loved, was working on cars.

Edward… Read More » is survived by three children: Latisha Hall of Mansfield, Andy Hall of Plainview and Bryson Hall of Mansfield; four grandchildren; his mother: Thelma Reed of Big Spring; three sisters: Deborah Hurrington (Michael Wallace) of San Antonio, Susan Gooden (Oscar) of San Antonio and Aretha Kitson (Phil) of Delaware; two brothers: Andre Hurrington of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Randy Hurrington of Big Spring. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Reed, Jr. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
