Edward R. Hamm, 57, of Montoursville, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Gatehouse. Born June 19, 1960, in Williamsport, he was a son to James Hamm Sr. and the former Rosa Holmes. For many years he worked as a auto body and paint technician.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Lisa M. Whitenite, they were united in marriage July 3, 2014. Also surviving are two sons, Tucker B. (Christen) Hamm and Tate A. Hamm; a daughter, Salana M. Sherwood; foiur grandchildren; two sisters, Susan D. Hamm Carter and Kay J. Hamm Peters ; brothers, James E. Jr. (Susan) Hamm, Clyde A. (Jenny) Reed and half brother Matthew (Betsy) Hamm; sister-in-law, Kimberly Bloom; brothers-in-law, Donald (Alva) Whitenite and David Whitenite; cousin, Candy Hein; and his stepmother, Betty Hamm.

He was preceded in death by a son, Tyler J. Hamm; a brother, Steven A. Hamm; and his stepfather, Butch Reed. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
