EDWIN RENE’ TRAVERS December 27, 1960 – March 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Graveside services for Edwin Rene’ Travers, 58, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 12:30pm from the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. Pastor Danny Lewis will officiate.

Miss Travers, daughter of Lionel and Edna Marie Long Travers was born in Ferriday and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Kenderick Travers, and one sister, Jinx Travers. She is survived by three brothers, Lance Travers of Ferriday; Lionel Travers, Jr. of Waterproof, LA and Dr. Richard Travers of Lafayette, LA; three sisters, Robbie Travers of Ferriday; Jacqueline Jackson of Gaston, NC and Jerrolyn Travers of Houston, TX and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

I’m Free Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all.
