Obituary for Elfriede L. McGregor McGregor, Elfriede L. Age 88. January 6, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Ross McGregor.

Loving mother of Jennifer McGregor. Dear sister of Irma Pope. Aunt of Rod Pope, Reinhard Pope and Robert Pope.

Great Aunt of Maria Pope, Erika Pope, Sara Pope and Anthony Pope. Great-great aunt of Antonio Pope and Hunter Pope. Mrs. McGregor was born on November 4, 1930 in Oppendorf, West Germany to Karl and Wilhelmine Roehling.

She graduated from nursing school in West Germany and immigrated to the United States where she met Ross. The couple married and made their home in Highland Park. She was a longtime nurse at several hospitals in the Metro Detroit area.

Her past times included cross stitching and crocheting. Memorial visitation Monday, February 11 from 1 pm until time of memorial service 4 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd.
