Daley-Clements, age 96, a long-time resident of Royal Oak, died December 31, 2018. She was born October 30, 1922 in Kalkaska to Fred and Julia Alm. Freda was the librarian at Lamphere High School for many years and never lost her incomparable zest for life.

Surviving are her children, Lynn M. (Jeffrey Colon) Daley of Oak Park and John F. (Kazucko) Daley of Ann Arbor; grandchildren, Andrew Gaither II and Joseph (Olivia) Vernier and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Gracie. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Daley; daughter, Marianne Daley and by her sister, Laura. Private services will be held.
