Obituary for Elinor McLeroy Hutchinson Elinor McLeroy Hutchinson, 84, of Chiefland, Florida, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018. Mrs. Hutchinson was born on February 3, 1934 in Trenton, FL to Milton and Alma McLeroy. A lifelong resident of the Chiefland area, Mrs. Hutchinson was a secretary for the Levy County School System at Chiefland High School.

She was a member of UDC and enjoyed playing piano, traveling and reading. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wilmer Carver Hutchinson who passed away just 2 days prior.

She is survived by daughters, Pamela G. (Jay) Lawrence of Trenton, FL and Joy (Gene) Schreiber of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Chiefland Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Travis Hudson officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton, FL. A visitation will be held at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Chiefland Tuesday, October 16, 2018 between the hours of 6 and 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd.
