Obituary for Ivy Levi Holder Jr. Ivy Levi Holder, Jr., 85, of Archer, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018. Mr. Holder was born in Gainesville, Florida on September 6, 1933 to Ivy Levi and Lilla Mae Holder. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1951 and joined the Army, serving 2 years as an M.P.

He served in Okinawa. He retired from the United States Postal Service and enjoyed his large family, reading, traveling and working in his yard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bronson for the past 47 years.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Holder of Archer, FL; children, Lisa (Tony) Fletcher, Kenny (Shirley) Holder, Chris Holder (Katie Parks), Lee (Amanda) Holder and Jackson Holder; sisters, Pat Smith of Webster, FL and Barbara Durden of Bronson, FL; 20 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Holder and grandsons, J. T. Conquest, Steven Holder and Logan Holder. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Bronson Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Rev.

Jeff Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Trenton, FL. A visitation will be held at the church the day of the service beginning at 2:00 PM.
