Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth M. Carone age 95 of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey died Tuesday January 15th. 2019. Elizabeth was born in Plainfield, New Jersey.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Farmer Murphy. She was a graduate of St. Bernard’s School and Plainfield High School. She had worked for Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark.

Elizabeth moved to the shore area in 1970 living in Manasquan and Ventnor. She has been a resident of Point Pleasant Beach since 1984. She was pre-deceased by her husband Sabino P. Carone in 1985 and her brothers Thomas, Joseph and Bernard Murphy.

Elizabeth was a communicant of St. Peter’s R.C. church. Surviving are her children. Michael and Sandra Carone of Mathews, Va.

, Elizabeth and A. Easley Johnson also of Mathews, Va. James and Susan Carone of Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ and Timothy and Debra Carone of Williams Bay, Wi.

Also survived by eight grandchildren, Sabina, James, Andrea, Elizabeth, Allen, Elizabeth Anne, Dominic and John. Six great grandchildren, Viviana, Abigayle, Colton, Lucia, Easley and Madelyn. Viewing hours will be held on Friday, January 18, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2170 Hwy.

88 Brick, New Jersey. A Funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, January 19, at 9:15 am at St. Peter’s R.C. Church, 406 Forman Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Burial will follow at St. Catharine’s Cemetery in Wall Twsp.
