Eloise Jones of Irving, Texas November 16, 1927 – December 22, 2018 Eloise Jones, 91, a resident of Irving since 1957, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at a local care center. Born November 16, 1927 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late John Coy and Era Smith. She moved to Irving in 1957.

On December 21, 1962, she married Roy Lee Jones. She was a homemaker and was Baptist. Preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bill Arrington, brothers J. C. Smith, Wilton Smith and Wallace Smith, and a sister Mary Allen, she is survived by her husband Roy Jones of Irving; sons, Dan Arrington and companion Linda Penney of Coppell, and Kevin Jones of Irving; a daughter Carol and husband Craig P. White of Waxahachie; a sister Betty Steger of Lindale, TX; brother, Gentry Smith of Dallas; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
