Frances Jean Mitchell of Irving, Texas October 11, 1944 – December 24, 2018 Frances Jean Mitchell, age 74, a resident of Irving since 1961, died Monday, December 24, 2018, at her home. Born October 11, 1944, she was the widow of Gaylon E. Mitchell, whom she married September 11, 1971 in Grand Prairie. Survivors include five daughters, Tammie Lynn Mitchell, Dianna Lynn Castillo and husband Benny, Bobbie Jean Thompson and husband Tony all of Irving, Charlotte Ondrea Mothershed and husband Shawn of Granbury, and Denise Ann Smithson of Irving; ten grandchildren, Christina Matthews, Steve Matthews and wife Misty, Timathy Castillo and wife Brittany, Chris Conn and wife Ashley, Danyel Saldana, Janie Mendoza and husband Jeff, Linda Conn, Cody Mothershed, Drew Smithson and Lane Thompson; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Earline Trammell and husband David of Alvarado, Linda Mitchell and husband Joe of Comanche, and Shirley McClendon and husband Greg of Alvarado; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd.
