Elsie M. Schneck, 71, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, June 2nd, peacefully, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville. She was born in Cressona, on June 15, 1946, a daughter of the late Kathryn (Wengert) and John Donton. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Summer Hill Auburn.

She worked at Plain & Fancy Donut Shop Schuylkill Haven. She belonged to Cressona Eastern Star. Graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School Elsie is preceded in death by a brother, James Donton, and a sister, Mary Donton Gaston.

She is survived by a daughter, Cristal Schneck, fiancee of Chris, of Auburn PA ; a son, Troy Schneck, of Schuylkill Haven PA; a granddaughter Britnee Schneck; three sisters, Edna, wife of Paul Blankenhorn, of Schuylkill Haven; Sherry, wife of Bruce Wolfe, of Tremont; Violet Boyer, of Pine Grove, a brother Robert Donton of Cressona, and , she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews A Celebration of Life Funeral Service at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. , 25 East Main Street Schuylkill Haven, PA, at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 6th. A visitation will be held Wednesday 1-2 pm. at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be private at convenience of the Family.
