Obituary for Elsie Farrell (Pierson) Elsie Mae Farrell, age 91, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Osage Beach. Elsie was born September 17, 1926 in Blockton, Iowa. She was the daughter of Stanley and Pearl (Arthur) Pierson.

On December 18, 1943 in Maryville, Missouri, Elsie was married to Roy Lavern Farrell who passed away June 29, 2011. They had shared over 67 years of marriage at the time of Roy’s passing. Elsie and Roy, made their home in Maryville, Missouri.

Elsie enjoyed taking care of her home and family as a diligent homemaker. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Roy, and a wonderful mother and grandmother to her children and their families. Elsie enjoyed baking and cooking as well as creating beautiful quilts for her family and friends to treasure.

She loved attending bible study at Countryside Christian Church in Maryville, Missouri, where she was a member. After Roy’s death in 2011, Elsie moved to Lake of the Ozarks to be closer to family. She remained there until her passing.

Elsie is survived by her son John Farrell and wife, Lynn, of Osage Beach, Missouri; her daughter Margaret Goepferich and husband, Kenny, of Kansas City, Missouri; her sisters, Doris McDonald, Donna Pierson and Helen(Ray) Davison, all of Maryville, Missouri five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lavern Farrell; her parents Stanley and Pearl Pierson; and her brothers Dennis Pierson, Edwin Pierson and Howard Pierson. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.

The family will welcome friends for visitation from 2:00-3:30 pm prior to services at the funeral home. An additional service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 21, at Countryside Christian Church in Maryville, Missouri. Interment will follow at Brethern Cemetery in Sheridan, Missouri.
