ELSIE L. REYNOLDS, Age 90, of East Sparta, passed away Fri. , July 20, 2018, in her residence. Born May 3, 1928, in Dexter City, OH, a daughter of the late Samuel and Bernice (Mincks) Medley, she had been an East Sparta resident most of her life.

Elsie was a 1946 graduate of East Sparta High School, had worked at the former Sparta Ceramic Tile Co. after high school and was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William Reynolds, on Dec. 20, 2015, a daughter, Vicki Dyke, a granddaughter, Angela McKnight, and her brother, Samuel Medley.

Survived by one daughter, Billie Jo Reynolds; one son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Najda Reynolds; one son-in-law, Don Dyke; one sister, Barbara Hootman; one brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Sandy Medley; and six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Wed. at 2 p.m. in the East Sparta United Methodist Church with Pastor Peggy Garner officiating.

Interment in East Sparta Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a luncheon in the church Fellowship Hall following the service. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.
