Myra J. Davis, 78, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. She was born on July 15, 1939 in Canton and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Alden) Fowler. Along with her parents, Myra was preceded in death by four siblings.

Myra was an avid homemaker, expert gardener, and gracious hostess. She traveled and cruised throughout the world with her husband, but she most enjoyed returning home to her family and friends. Although Myra called many places home over the years, she made deep, long lasting friendships wherever she lived.

Myra crafted, decorated, entertained and celebrated life with those she loved and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Lyle E. Davis whom she married on February 27, 1970 and their children, Marcia (Michael) Pendleton, Mark (Shelley) Bucher, Michelle (Jeff Boccuti) Williams, Melinda Griffiths, Marc (Jodi) Davis, Jennifer (David) McIntyre and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Davis. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her siblings, Carol Anderson, Roseanne (Dwain) Best, Bill Fowler and Joyce (Dave) Lewis.

The funeral will take place on Friday, July 13 at 1:00 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Friday from noon to 1:00 pm.
