Eric A. Johnson, 54, of Evansville passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home. Eric was born January 13, 1965 in Evansville, IN to the late Frank and Anna (Smith) Johnson. Eric was a member of the U.A. Local 136 Plumbers and Steamfitters for over 25 years.

He was a 1983 graduate of Bosse High School and a member of St. Benedict Cathedral. He enjoyed helping others with household projects, fishing and was an avid outdoors man. He is survived by wife, Doretha Johnson; daughters, Dawn (Jay) Hoesli and Anna Johnson; grandchild, Gracie Hoesli; sisters, Debbie (William Jr.) Roland and Viola (Wally) Plunkett; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Becky Libecap; and brother, Frank Johnson, Jr. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2019 with a memorial service at 7:00 pm, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave. Evansville, IN 47714. Visitation will continue Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 9:30 am-10:00 am with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father Ted Tempel officiating.
