Eric Wayne Watson BURLINGTON, WV – Eric Wayne Watson, 52, of Burlington, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his residence. Born on Friday, June 24, 1966 in Keyser, he is the son of Gary M., Sr. and Flora Ann (Hickle) Watson. Eric graduated from Keyser High School Class of 1985, a U.S. Navy Persian Gulf War Veteran and employed by the U.S. Postal Service, Keyser Office as a Carrier for Rural Route #4.

He was a member of St. Peters Church of the Divine Mercy Parish in Westernport, MD and was a sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was an avid football fan of his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers and the Minnesota Vikings. In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Patsy L. (Fazenbaker) Watson; his brother, Gary M. “Rusty” Watson, Jr. and wife Beverly; his sister, Annette E. Cooper and husband Rick and special friend, Jakob R. Watson.

He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11 am with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Interment will follow service in Potomac Memorial Gardens with Military Honors accorded by the U.S. Navy National Military Honor Guard and American Legion Post #13 Honor Guard.
