Charline Wheeler was born in Hext, Tx on September 8, 1930. Charlene was an Abilene resident having moved to Abilene from Hext, Texas to attend Draughon’s Business College She became a homemaker after marrying Tommy J. Wheeler on June 15, 1952 in Abilene, Texas.
Charline enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy J. Wheeler; parents, Ora and Charlie Davis; brothers, Damon, Dane, and Wayne Davis and Sister, Valera Worley; and her eldest son, Stephen Wheeler. She is survived by; sons, David Wheeler and wife Marcy of Menard County; son, Thomas Wheeler of Abilene; son, Charles Wheeler and wife Angela of Anson; daughter, Dianne Holley and husband Bill of Haskell; and grandchildren, Meagan, Mason, Brian, Breanna, Michael Anne, Kellye, Casey and Garrett, and seven great grandchildren.
Charline was loved and will be greatly missed by her family. Graveside service will be held at Hext Cemetery, in Hext, TX at 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 29, 2018. A reception will be held at 8892 Holmes Ln.
