A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Eugenia L. Brown-Durante of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2018 will be held Thursday, May 24th, 6:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Andrew Atkinson, eulogist, officiating. Eugenia was born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 5, 1980 to military parents, Larry and Agnita Brown. Eugenia was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend.
She was a graduate of Tampa Bay Tech, class of 1999 and went to Erwin for her LPN. She was a nurse who loved her profession. She was a member of Nassau Street Church of Christ and was employed by Hillsborough County Schools as the nurse at Sheehy Elementary.
She enjoyed gardening, computer games, blogging and going to the park. She leaves to cherish her memories with her loving two sons, Joseph (7 years) and Josiah (18mths); estranged husband, Joseph Tyrail, Sr.; parents, Larry and Agnita Brown; brother, Chris Brow; sister, LeCrystal Williams (Mark); grandmothers, Lucia Combie of St. Croix and Bernice Smith of Tampa, Florida; aunts, Cecelia Albury (Bernard), Terry McCrae (Eddie), Marie Holmes (Kevin) of Texas and Jen Combie of St. Croix; uncles, Cedric Brown of Tampa, Florida, Michael (Marcella), Simon, Christopher (Valerie) and Robert Combie (Liz) of St. Croix, Saturminus Combie (Joyce) of Las Vegas, Oswald Combie of Springhill; two nephews, Tyree and Mark, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends; special people in her life include, Brittany Walker, Sophonie Satine, sisters-in-law, Janice, Andrew and Rogenia Atkinson, Brenda Clark, Geri Moorer-Pierre and family, Nassau Street Church of Christ congregation, Miss Vickey, Ron Ladie and Joseph Washington of North Carolina, Mrs. Mccants and the entire staff at Sheehy Elementary School. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Thursday evening for the service.
