Obituary for Eva Marie Akin Plano, Texas – Eva Marie Akin, 81, wife of the late Robert Akin, entered into rest on July 25, 2018, at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Akin was born in Goodell, Iowa to the late Ralph and Effie Stokesbarry.

She loved playing bingo and penny slot machines. She was known for being feisty but everyone that every met her, loved her. She worked as a supervisor at Honey Well.

Survivors include her three sons, Paul Krebs (Denise), Ron Akin (Renee) and Robbie Akin; two daughters, Pamela Seymore (Oren, III) and Patty Pound (Steven); her brothers, Carroll Stokesbarry, David Stokesbarry, Doug Stokesbarry, Allen Stokesbarry and Joe Stokesbarry; two sisters, Donna Kahler and Virginia Walker; her grandchildren, Patrick Krebs, Joshua Krebs and Jamie Krebs, Sean Wilson, Jennifer Herrerra, Bryan Sowers, Tiffany Sowers and Barry Sowers and Brad Akin; Great-grandchildren, Jesse Chamberlin, Ally Sowers and Emma Sowers, Seth Krebs, Cason Krebs, Lucy Krebs, Andrew Krebs and J.J.
