Obituary for Ms. Ewarnease G. Durham Lance Ewarnease G. Durham, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018, in Seneca. Born in Stephens County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Jesse A. and Mattie Wilson Durham. Ewarnease (known by many as CeCe) was retired from Belk Department Store in Seneca.

She also worked as an LPN and as a hairdresser. Ewarnease loved to shop, decorate, was an excellent cook and had an amazing green thumb. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Although she suffered with Alzheimer’ s Disease in her last years, she is now with Jesus and no longer without her memories and is completely healed! Another precious soul now has wings! She will be truly and greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her three daughters, Susan Nash (Dale) of Williamston, Jennifer Foster of Seneca, and Melissa J. Cooper (Jeff) of Seneca. She is survived also by her grandchildren, Jason Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, Alex Foster, Lauren Foster, Sophie Graham, and Grayson Owens. CeCe also has five great- grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother, Theron Durham (Bertie), sisters, Patsy Pearson, and Jackie Carpenter. She was predeceased by sisters Faye Shaw (Sam), Mildred Goodman (Jimmy), and brothers, Charles and Chevis C W Durham (Judy). A private memorial was held and the family is at their respective homes.
