He was born in San Antonio, TX on April 10, 1957. Fernando enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing dominoes and poker, watching movies and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernardino Martinez. Fernando is survived by his mother, Rosa Martinez; sisters, Maria Cuellar (Dan Pacheco), Cristina Palomares (Genaro), Raquel Martinez (Alvaro Escott), brothers, Juan Jose Martinez (Margie), Armando Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Marcial Martinez (Josie); also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Wednesday, November 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29th at Mission Burial Park South.
