Florence C Stover, July 12, 1920 — March 22, 2019

Florence C.’s Obituary Florence C. Stover, of Sellersville, PA, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA. She was 98. She was the wife of the late Edwin L. Stover, who died in 2000.

Born in Montgomeryville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Anna Mary (Worrel) Luxton. Mrs. Stover was employed by the American Olean Tile Co., Lansdale, PA for over 20 years, retiring in 1985. Prior to that, she had worked for Philco Ford, Lansdale and Trotter Pretzel, Hatfield, PA.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Sellersville, PA. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and sewing. She also liked to bowl in her earlier years, having been a member of the American Olean Tile bowling league.

She is survived by five children, Edwin L. Stover and his wife Eileen, of Silverdale, PA, Carol A. Dunar and her husband Paul, of Fountain Inn, SC, Irwin H. Stover and his wife Marie, of Sellersville, Raymond J. Stover, of Souderton, PA and Darlene F. Fosque and her husband Craig, of Millsboro, DE; 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Merica of the state of Washington and a brother, Floyd Luxton, of Warrington, PA. Her funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thurday, March 28, 2019 at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Linfield, PA 19468.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
