Robert’s Obituary Robert W. Helmick, 79, a resident of Harleysville, PA, passed away at Grand View Hospital on Monday, March 11, 2019. He and his wife, Linda L. (Ziegler) Helmick, would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on April 30th of this year. Born December 7, 1939, in Churchville, VA, he was a son of the late Marvin and Rosa (Marshall) Helmick.

After his mother’s death when he was two, he was raised by his father and step-mother, Leta Helmick Wilt, in Durbin, WV. Bob was a member of Encore Experiences of Harleysville, PA. He frequently enjoyed breakfast and fellowship with his friends at the former Jack’s Deli and McDonald’s, both of Harleysville, PA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Robert Helmick and his wife, Patty, of Coopersburg, PA, Michael Helmick of Souderton, PA, and Shawna Helmick of Harleysville, PA; and two grandchildren, Lynn and James. He is also survived by a brother, Bill Helmick of Lebanon, PA, a sister, Jean Bocook of Rockingham, VA; and by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Frances and Frances Lee; and by a brother, Harry Lee.

Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia Township, PA. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.
