Anniston – Funeral service for Mrs. Frances “Becky” Leahey, 84, will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Snow officiating. Burial will be held in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Per the family’s request, there will be no public committal service.

The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday. Mrs. Leahey died on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Leahey is survived by her daughter, Cathy Houston of Anniston; one son-in-law, Phillip Reaves of Weaver; her grandson, Nicholas (Brandi) Warren of Pleasant Valley; one granddaughter-in-law, Anna Dodd of Alexandria; five great-grandchildren, Ethan and Aiden Warren, and Abigail, Brayden and Gracie Dodd; two brothers, Jimmy Bonds of Anniston and Tommy Bonds of Jacksonville; one sister, Mary Cobb of Jacksonville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Horace McMichael of Alexandria; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Leahey was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Catherine Bonds; one daughter, Gayla Reaves; one grandson, William Lance Dodd; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bernice and Durwood Stitt.
