Obituary for Frances Robertson Stevens Frances Robertson Stevens, 71, of 122 Lynch Street passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at SOVAH Health of Danville, surrounded by family. Frances was born May 15, 1946 to the late William Buck Wade Robertson and late Hattie Robertson Hardy. Frances was a member of St. Mark Pentecostal Holiness Church.

On October 9, 1964, she married Winston Woodroe Stevens, who predeceased her on May 3, 2016. Frances is survived by her two sons, Robert Stevens, and wife, Sheri, of Sutherlin and Mark Stevens of Keeling; four grandchildren, Stephanie Seay, and husband, Cody, Ethan Stevens, and wife, Mary, and Haley and James Stevens. She is also survived by 2 great – grandchildren, Karrington Seay and Aliyah Stevens; her sister Deborah Foster, and husband, Stewart, and brother David Robertson; tons of nieces & nephews, and special friends Sammy Barker & Peggy Morris.

Her brothers, Ernest Robertson and Calvin Robertson and sister, Mary Rigney, also predeceased her. Frances lived to care for others. Her family meant the world to her and she loved cooking for all of them and having a house full of chaos and laughter.

She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her sweet, giving, and nurturing spirit. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by the Rev.

Dr. Jerry Folley. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church and at her residence at other times.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Mark Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1201 S Boston Rd. Danville, VA 24540. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is serving the Stevens family.
