Francis “Butch”‘s Obituary Francis “Butch” Dale Kitson, age 63, of Keshena, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Madison. Born in Keshena, on December 5, 1955, he is the son of the late Francis “Ducky” and Dorothy (Lyons) Kitson. On August 15, 1981, Butch was united in marriage to Sally Martin in Keshena.

Sally preceded Butch in death on December 12, 2001. Butch worked as a union carpenter and was a talented woodworker. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, riding his Harley, boating, and traveling.

Those who knew Butch found him to be a dedicated, hard-working, family man, who loved his grandkids with all his heart. Butch is survived by: his children, Henry “Hank” (Amanda) Kitson of Keshena, Franny (Cody Boivin) Kitson of Keshena, Eileen (Robert) Wood of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren, Pearson, Colt “Coltie Man”, Sally, Cora, Ivy, Henry Jr., Maggie, Jake and George; his significant other, Sherri Malone of Keshena; his siblings, Dwayne “Kit Kat” Kitson of Keshena, Karla Kitson of Keshena and Cheryl (Kevin) Mohawk of Keshena. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally; his parents, Francis and Dorothy; his brother, Keith “Keefer” Kitson and his sister, Jodi Lynn Kitson.

Funeral services will be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with Rev. Nonito Barra officiating. Visitation will be held at the Kitson residence, W709 Lot 17 Twin Oaks Court in Keshena beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12 until the procession leaves for the church on Thursday.

A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
