Francis H. “Frank” Quinn passed into eternal rest after a brief illness on May 26, 2018, surrounded by friends and family. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Patrick and Claire Quinn on October 14, 1928, he was a proud graduate of Xavier Preparatory School in New York and received a B.A. from Drew University. Frank entered the teaching profession at Holy Trinity High School in Westfield in 1956 then spent the rest of his 40-year career as a beloved English and Latin teacher at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

He served in the New Jersey National Guard for 25 years, retiring as Captain of Company A. He wata member of the Rahway Valley Jerseyaires barbershop chorus, serving as its Secretary for 16 years, and coordinated activities of their Ecumenical Choir that visited churches with their musical program. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Yoerger Quinn; daughter Carolyn of Bay Ridge, NY; his brother, retired Chief Justice of the Colorado State Supreme Court; nephew Joseph Quinn of ToMs River; and several more nieces and nephews.
